1991
Heidrich founds Heidrich GmbH electrical wholesale in Essen. Entry in the commercial register on December 20, 1990.
On January 2, 1991, Heidrich GmbH officially started in Essen, three employees (Mr. Hans-Dieter Kirch, Mr. Thomas Schowald, Mr. Jörg Skiba) were sitting in front of empty warehouses and starting with material procurement and customer acquisition.
In 1991, Willi Heidrich joined the GmbH as a partner and managing director. The workforce grew to seven people.
1992
The Cologne branch opened on January 1, 1993. Here, too, the construction industry quickly became the main customer of Heidrich GmbH.
1993
Heidrich GmbH was entered in the commercial register in Schkeuditz on February 1, 1994. Through continuous development work, Willi Heidrich managed to continue the successful series from the Ruhr area and Rhineland in Saxony.
1995
The Berlin branch was opened on July 1st, 1995. Mr. Jörg Skiba takes over the construction work until September 1996.
1996
Relocation from Schkeuditz, the temporary solution, to Glesien to new premises.
1997
On September 15, 1997 the Mannheim branch begins its work. This is where Mr. Thomas Schowald accompanies our new colleagues for the first twelve months.
1998
Mr. Thomas Schowald and Mr. Jörg Skiba join Heidrich GmbH as shareholders on January 2, 1998.
2002
On June 1st, 2002 our new Munich branch starts work. Ms. Herrmann (trained in Leipzig by our Mr. Willi Heidrich) changes completely to Munich. She starts with Mr. Willi Heidrich and Mr. Jörg Skiba.
2004
Willi Heidrich retires. His brother takes over the shareholding from Willi Heidrich.
2007
The year begins at a low point. On January 3, 2007, Mr. Willi Heidrich dies after a short, serious illness. A shock! A friend left us forever. "Willi", for whom it was always about the well-being of the company and who, with a heavy heart, switched to well-deserved retirement because of his strong back problems, will always be with us.
2007
Life goes on: Mr. Thomas Schowald and Mr. Jörg Skiba take over shares of the GmbH and the management in equal shares. At the same time, extensive renovation work is started at the Johanneskirchstrasse site. In April we set up our office in Hamburg.
2008
Relocation of the Mannheim branch to the new premises in Merowingerstrasse. The storage area was adapted to the needs and expanded.
2009
Relocation of the Berlin branch to Gehringstrasse. At last! There is now enough space here at the location to unload a 40-ton truck sensibly and undisturbed.
2012
In Essen, the head office moves to the new location in Econova-Allee. We start in the new premises on the first working day in January 2012. From now on no more 3 storage levels, sufficient office and storage space are finally available. We are increasingly becoming a partner for tunnel construction. Objects in Peru, Chile, Qatar, Norway, Austria and Switzerland are now managed just as successfully as the countless domestic construction sites .
2016
We are presenting ourselves at the Bauma in Munich. At our partner, Merz GmbH, we are represented as "sub-exhibitors" on the stands.
2017
We have again expanded our activities for construction sites abroad (especially tunnel construction sites).
2018
The new version of the VDE 0100-704 standard brings important changes for construction sites. We are increasingly advising our customers in this area and are now up to date with the standard.
2019
Since the beginning of the year, one of the main focuses of our work has been planning for BAUMA 2019. Thank you everyone who visitetd us at BAUMA fom April 8th to April 14th.
